senior-abuseAs a partner with county and tribal aging programs (whether you are an office on aging or an ADRC), GWAAR is your resource for up-to-date information, training, and technical support to help you provide information and assistance to older people and their families on elder abuse.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD)

Since 2006 WEAAD has been recognized internationally on June 15. Adult protective services units around Wisconsin worked diligently the past several months organizing events and displays to bring awareness locally to elder abuse in their communities.
